Hi everyone! Im 13 yrs old. i weigh 177lbs! and i've tried going on a diet many times but always end up quitting and eating junk food! this summer im committed into going on a diet..last year i did the same but i gained 20lbs! and my family always go out to get dinner to like baffets and stuff!! I NEED SOME HELP!! anyone wanna give me advice or tips? oh and one thing does the South Beach Diet really word??

Hey, one of the best things to burn calories is to skip rope. Did you know that research indicates that 10 minutes of jumping rope is equal to 30 minutes of running at a 5.7 mph pace? Cool, huh? It's fun too! You can skip while watching TV, so then it won't be a waste of time. Some other things to try are, Don't eat anything one hour before bed. Drink lots of water. To make exercising more fun, do it with a friend. Hope I'm of help to you! :P!

Listen, my name is Brittney, I looked up on the internet and found out that if you drink less cokes and carbinated water that might help a little. Also there are some excercises you could do to lose weight. Like lay on your back , knees pushed in like you are going to do a sit-up, then count 1-to-2, then raise your legs up at a 45` angle(degrees) hold that for 5 seconds do that for a while for at least 12 times.

Hey you know cheerleading isn't everything for one thing and for a second thing i mean sure you may want to lose weight but first think am i dedicated and do i want this a lot. If you do then just start by walking everyday i mean honestly my neighboor lost over 20 pounds in a couple months just by walking 45 minuets every day! It can be fun if you do it with a friend, mom, dad, brother, sister, boyfriend, or anyone!Love ya good luck, Lizzy

Here are some exercize tips for people who can't buy exercize videos/machine or go to the gym.. :Walk everyday for 30 munites or ride your bike for 30 munites..Jump rope in ur home or outside.use the stairs instead of the elevatortry to use non modern things.. like instead of using ur remote control stand up and push the buttons!hope this helps i am doing that :D

Hey,i'm anisha. Best way to lose weight fast and get leaner is to join your self in activities such as tennis or swimming.You'll have fun, not think about food and lose tons of weight!Try not eat junk food!Eat it like once a week. Drink atleast 8 mugs of water a day. Oh Yeah you want to do your outside activity about 2-3 times a week,on the other days walk for an hour,jog 30 min.or runfor 20 min.,rest on one of the week,try not to eat any junk food on that day.Good Luck! By the way I weigh 110 ,it's the highest i have ever been because i try to live healthy.P.S.Do everythin toget exercise(climing stairs instead of elevator)and do this for atleast 3-4weeks and you will see the pounds melting off.Keep doing this and you will be quite slim! bye and good luck.:->

Omg if anyone wants to loose weight no matter how much like 10-50 pounds ask your parents to get windsor pilates! i swear it works all u have to do is do it for 20 minutes a day! that is not bad and also cut down on the stuff u eat like cut the amount in half! its easy! also drink so much water or flavored water it helps u loose weight trust me!!! it worked for me i do all those things and now i am loosing weight and getting the fit body i have dreamed off!!!!

God, am i telling u guys everyday or what: JUMP ROPING IS THE BEST! Go to http://www.nutri-facts.com/calcalc.aspor just go to the nutri-facts.com part and loopk for the calorie calculator. You can see how many cals ur burning for whatever you do for however long u do it.

HEY YOU GUYS! A good thing to do is jumproping. I'm 148 pounds, and i do 1000 jumps (which takes me 15 minutes) and i burn aprox. 169 calories. The 1000 jumps aren't as hard as they seem. So eventually, I'm going to work up to 2000 jumps. I listen to music while i jump. And if you do this, make sure you're outside and have lotls of space (maybe at 6:00 in the morning on your front sidewalk/proch.) It makes it hard when you have a ceiling above you. it makes you think you're going to hit something. Now i'm only 148, and i know a lot of you are over that. For 175 lbs in 15 mins. you burn aprox. 200 cals. For 200 lbs in 15 mins. you burn aprox. 228 cals. not that's just 15 minutes! Try it and post on the board if you did.

***jumping jacks every morning and before bed :) ****sit ups...increase the # u do each day and it really works ***lay on your side on a flat surface and lift one leg up and down for a while...then lay on your other side and lift the other leg high in the air :) u can do this while watching TV too...thats why i like it!

i would just like to tell everyone that if u believe that it is nearly impossible to lose weight u are WRONG. I am 5'4 and now around 200 pounds. i kno that is alot but i started out at 230 pounds just a few months ago. my secret is a game called DDR or dance dance revolution. it is available for the x box and for playstation 1 and 2. you may have seen it in many arcades. it involves stepping on a $20 dance pad when the screen tells u to. it is difficult at first like anything but if u follow the instructions on the game you are sure to get good at it. if u are like me, u dont want to be seen outside exercising because you are too embarassed. this is a great way to privatly lose as much weight as you want. the awesome thing is that it is actually fun to do. the game costs around $50 then each dance pad is $20. if u are like me, that is not a big deal because in return u get the chance to finally lose weight and keep it off.

I used to kickbox. Then my instructor quit. It's really fun though, try it.
