Ht. 5'4", Today: 138 lb (BMI %tile: 82) - Hi everyone!!What is a good way to NOT give into temptations to pig out and eat junk food?? i'm 5'4 and i weigh about 138 lbs. YUCK!!!! my mom is telling me CONSTANTLY to get out and exercise but i feel like i just can't do it!! like no matter how hard i would try..i feel like it just wouldn't pay off!! i don't want to be a fat kid for the rest of my life!!! hi. i'm 5'4" also, but i'm 132lbs...trying to get to 115lbs. exercise doesn't have to be a bore...try swimming, basketball, tennis, soccer, etc...or if you are interested in doing exercise videos i recommend taebo, walk away the lbs, pilates, or maybe try a dancing video like darrins dance grooves or something. and if you eat pizza...blot up the extra grease with a napkin or paper towel.

Ht. 5'3", Start: 172 lb, Today: 164 lb (BMI %tile: 98) - y0o0o...im 5'3 and 164lbs (used to be 172lbs), for u ppl dat r tryin to lose weight like me...you shud buy the game DDR (Dance Dance Revolution, u will need the dance pad, the game, and n e game system that has the gam), it is so much fun, and i heard u can lose weight by playing. i kno this 1 person who started playin ddr and he lost 40lbs on dat game alone. i hav that game and its a lot of fun. i play it everyday and i am pretty good at it. i am trying to work my way up to MANIAC....but i am still on TRICK, which is pretty good. well n e wayz....i hab a question...since i am starting to diet now, about how much weight can i lose until/before May???(which is in 6 months) thanx, i appreciate it. and hope u guys try out DDR! i highly recommend it! ^_^ *DiZ FlIp Iz oUt*

Anne, yeh, I have been excerciseing abit but not everyday, so i'll try to do that! and how much water do you think I should be drinking each day? I weigh about 182lbs by the way. How do you guys fit so much excersise into your day! I always seem so busy, but im going to try and find more time for it :)

Yeah, I know your problem. I am trying to get more toned, and don't have time either. Try simple things, like using stairs in stead of the elevator, and park farther away from a store so you have to walk a bit farther. Also, when you have one spare minute, and stairs in your home, just walk up and down them once. It takes a really short time, and after a while it will get easier and you can do it faster. Then, bump it up to two times.

my workout buddy who is my best friend slows me down, she is out of breath when I want to keep on running and she gets mad if i run ahead, i dont wanna hurt her but i wanna get in shape! help!

this sounds kind of decieving but split you workout into 1/3 and 2/3's. spend the one third of the time with her- maybe you guys could do weight lifting or something or just deal with the running till she gets better. use the other 2/3's to exersize by yourself and don't tell her. good luck!

Hey Y'all. I am happy to say I am more determined than ever!! I'm back on slim-fast for time being, but as soon i find the time to finish that book, its healthy eatin all the way out. This is a promsise I swear I'm gonna try my hardest to keep, I'm gonna log on to this website for support, especially when times get rough, everyday, but I'm only getting on the computer once a day. That is going to make a real differnce in how much i'm not going to be sitting down, and instead being active. Sry to keep blabbering on over here, but one quick question, How much does the FiRm cost? I remember lookin at it before and it was like $$$70+$$$. lol. Chellie, The firm only costs like 15 bucks for just one video. they try to sell you the stair step, and bar and other stuff. I have a video and i just use a chair, stool, and a broomstick. Is Jay's book good? what does he suggest? -Emily

i got one of those dance mats and drank loads of water and i lost loads of weight in bout a few weeks and it is fun aswell try it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok cliff. and i lost it by counting calories and exersizing a bit everyday. so far i've lost 20 pounds and i plan to lose 20 more. i've also been eating a lot of veggetables- as much as i can get and tons of water. good luck both of you! oh and for exersize i do taebo and a little bit of pilates but i like taebo better i use pilates to relax more...

yes a little bit I have a trampoline in my backyard here in Australia! Why- I dont know but your jumping so... I have started on a diet about 4 weeks ago and i have lost 6 pounds from trampolining! But i dont only do that... swimming in the ocean and surfing plus volleyball is great excercise too!

i used the 30 min. live tape. the advanced tape and the other regular 30 minute workout and more tapes. i've lost 18 pounds in 4 months but i would and could have lost more if i was more consistant with it. i could feel myself becoming more fit before and visable results but i've lost quite a few inches and i'm much stronger. my arms look great and my thighs have slimmed down- some with my waist. the only thing that's annoying is my lower stomach- but it'll dissappear oon enough i suppose. i've been a lot more consistant lately and am getting better results so tae-bo definately rocks! oh and i love the taebo two 8 min. workout also because if you don't have much tme it really gets your heart rate up- i want the rest of the taebo two series...oh and taebo abs and glutes is great also but you have to do it slower then they do it untill you know you won't hurt yourself. good luck!

dont worry u can do it i used to weight almost 170 and i took up track i thought i couldnt do it but i really got in to it in 3 monthes i lost 30lbs it takes time cut back on junk food and start walking everyday or running but i bet u can do it i belive in you

That is definitely possible! I really suggest that you buy some of THE FIRM tapes. They work so great. I have lost 24 pounds in a month and a half. I am soooo excited and I want to recommend these tapes to absolutely everyone who ever wanted to lose weight without dieting.

Hey. I'm way up north in Minnesota, and we already have snow, so it's kind of impossible to be running outside. We just moved right in front of a track, convinently, but it's a little chilly to be using it! What are some good excercises that I could be doing inside? When we go back to the other house, I am going to grab the tae-bo tape, and do that for 15-20 minutes every morning before school, if I can manage getting up an extra half hour early ;o) Any other tips on how I can lose 30 lbs by March?

i live in the twin cities and we have snow here already also. Well I am in basketball and it is a workout and I do swimming lessons so maybe you can join a sport or soething but taebo will work
