Hey, Can anyone tell me how to do crunches, lunges and jumping jacks? Also how do you guys find so much time to do all this excersise. I try and do some, but never have enough time. Also it gets very dark very early now. AND I seem to get tired after about 10 minutes of hard jogging, without stopping. Please let me know. Beleive in you all. LOL Lola

Okay for crunches you lie on your back with you knees bent and you go up and down that is 1 crunch. A lunge you have to stand with you feet hip width apart and take a big step forward and go down then come back up and repeat with the other leg. For a jumping jack you stand straight and jump your legs out to the side and lift you arms until you hands touch and jump back into place that is 1 jumping jack. Hope this helps. Talk to you later.

My aunt is a weight loss instructor, and here is some VERY key information in how you can lose weight. Aerobic training is the only form of exercise where you use two sources of energy: carbs (blood glucose) and fat. The Surgeon General advises us that, to be healthy, we need to exercise at least three to four times a week, in an aerobic zone, for 20-30 minutes. That is a standard to keep your heart healthy, not to lose body fat by burning calories. Here's what you need to understand. For the first 20 minutes you are exercising in your aerobic zone, you are burning about 80% carbohydrates and 20% fat. For the next 20 minutes, you are burning about 50% carbs and 50% fat. You're getting better. Now you're gonna start to lose some of that weight as the fat is being burned! So what happens if you start getting into the above 40 minute range? A reversal. If you want some more tips then ask for some, I have tons. Also remember, if you want to lose weight relatively fast, then your just gunna have to work longer! (view less)

We had a snow day today! I did one of my Firm videos and my 15 minutes of pilates. I had half of a grapefruit and a bottle of water for breakfast and for lunch I had a small garden salad with low fat dressing and a piece of melba toast. I also went outside and built a snowman with my little sister and we had a snowball fight.

Just got my dumbbells from Wal-Mart today and starting Monday (right Mandi? ;D) I'll be able to fully go at my body sculpting routine, just thought I'd share. Thank you all for the tips earlier, didn't realize there were a lot of other girls that are shall we say "curvaceous" (made me feel better). lol Sometimes I'm glad about it, but other times its annoying. Sorry guys. lol -Veronica P.S. The dumbbells are really cheap, I got two 3lb weights for a $1 apiece, and I lost another inch off my waist!!! Yay (for the 1st time in my many endeavors to lose weight its really working!)!!!!!!!!

if you do them on your side you work your outer thigh. if you do it while laying on your back lifting both legs at once then it works your abs and if you do it one leg at a time while laying on your stomach then you're working your butt and lower back... i hope i helped! oh- and i think the ones on the side also help love handles. but those are all different leg lifts. when i do them i do them all around laying differently for a fuller work out.

tae-bo was a work out created by a marshal arts expert that has boxing and dance moves in it. if you like to feel your work out then get it- it's a really good cardio work out. i've also tried pilates- i don't really like it becasue i can't feel it working and it feels like i just wasted time because it's not relaxing like yoga it doesn't really benefit me...

I tried out for cheerleading a couple years ago at 160 lbs. (i'm 5'3") and I did make it. In fact through all the hard work and determination I had to be the best I could as a cheerleader I lost about 40 lbs. You can do it just keep working at it!

Hey Charles! Of course situps are the most common exercise for the stomach area, but I don't think spot reduction works so try a lot of cardio exercises. For your thighs and behind try Pilates, it does well for toning your body. Hope this helps.
