Today: 170 lb - Im back yall! hey. i lost 4 lbs! yay. in now 170. and you know whats weird? i play tennis right? and i love it,but not because its excercis. so today i ran for 25 min, did crunches, JJS(jumpin jacks) and weights and i feel great. so i have a suggetion for all of you. if ur somene who doe weights or runs on a treadmill infront of a tv-DONT DO IT! it makes you dizzy and gives you a headache. if you get a stereo, and put on ur favorite music(upbeat works wel) and just concentrate on a thing, or thought, u get into it. i love excercising now and i cant WAIT to go see my exsummer love fom this summer and show him the new me. good luck to yall. xoxo -*determin'd*

Hey everyone! Sorry if you didn't understand my post before, I hope you forgive me :-D anyways... Today I started my diet, im doing great so far today i've only had about 1100 calories!!! I'm so happy! Also I found a great work-out I go to my local park and excersize, I walk about a mile... It's a start!!! I'm so proud of myself. lol. Also sometimes i use this video called "Walk away the pounds... with abs" it works ok, but walking is much better! And today proboly for the 1st time in my life i went a day with-out junk food!!! thanx for all ur help people, i lost 1 Ib. i know its not a lot but its a start. 2day i was gonna have a coffe cake but then i saw it had 140 or 130 calories so then i had a fruit leather and it was 45 calories. I just keep encoraging myself i can do it! u can do it 2. play some sports and have a good time!

Today: 169 lb - I am so proud of my self i am 169 now and i finally brok 170 when i thought i would never be able to. I have taebo now and i have done that so far everyday i have had it and it is great it gets my blood pumping and makes me want to do stuff and makes me have energy for homeork and stuff. I would really reccommend everyone getting taebo the cardio one and when i can do that one good i think i will get aother one like the 21 day challenge or any other one.

here's one i know for your butt nd lower back. lay on your belly with your hands crossed under yourhead and lift one leg at a time as high up as you can, alternate legs going slowly and for as many as you can or want to do. also- make sure that you're always sitting straight because it strengthens your back- inner abs- andyour pectoral muscles. good luck and congradulations on your weight loss!

Hi, new here. Just wondering if anyone has any exercise routines that they feel really work. I have a membership to a gym and I work out there, walk a mile, and am thinking about starting Pilates, but I'm at a lost trying to figure out how much is enough or not enough. I have these exercise tapes called the FIRM......you can order them at firmdirect.com........ive been doing these for about three weeks now....i havent been to a gym and i have lost 15lbs........and im getting muscles also.....their really easy to do.........they have aerobics, light weightlifting and the best of all cardio.......and seriously anyone can do these exercises.....and ull see a change after 10 workouts or less....and u dont ahve to do it everyday.......they make u do it every other day so u dont over train.........hope ive helped

EVERYBODY READ! I am 15 years old and I recently started doing Taebo. A friend of mine (who is 19 and in college) was absolutely DETERMINED to lose weight. So for about 3 weeks straight she did taebo Advanced twice a day and drank TONS of water (no soda or juice) and had slim fast ONLY when she was hungry. She would also eat salads and Special K and Gummy Bears for a snack because they are fat free. She lost 30 pounds in tha short amount of time but she worked out VERY vigorously. It tells you how many calories you are burning for ur particular height and weight and for tha particular activity u are doing and for that amount of time! This website can ALSO tell u how many calories u need to burn to reach ur goal weight by a certain day. Or how many calories u need to burn each day to reach that weight. Ht. 5'1", Today: 180 lb (BMI %tile: 98) - Hi.My name is Stephanie.I'm 13 years old.I have always been a little chubby, but until I started Middle School,I never really cared much.Then,the last couple of weeks of seventh grade, me and a couple of my friends made a home video for our english class.When we watched it in class, I was blown away.I was HUGE.I hadn't realized how big I really was.I stepped on a scale for the first time in my life and gasped at the number.180lbs.I am only about 5'1,so I knew this was not a healthy weight.I started to diet, but then slacked off,figuring "why bother?" Then,when I started eighth grade this year,all the girls had developed over the summer and had become really pretty.All the guys were whistling as they went by and going out with them.It really made me upset.I wanted a guy to whistle at me or ask me out.I'm also afraid of having heart problems or developing diabetes.Right now,I'm trying to cut down on portions. Not eat any sugary,processed foods. For the past couple of days, I've been running laps,doing cardio and yoga.Everytime I get on the scale,though,it shows a different number.One minute it will be 176,the next,183.What am I doing wrong? Lend me your support,please.I REALLY need it.All of my friends are smaller,and don't understand.THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

i have also figured out that if you don't like exercising you aren't going to do it,so find some kind of physical activity that you LIKE doing and do it.don't be afraid to try new things,you never know,you may find someting physical that you like doing.plus,keep in mind that muscle(please excuse my spelling LOL)weighs more then fat

I understand how you feel when I was 9 I weighed 108 I tried my best to keep in shape by riding my bike for about 1 hour a day and I lost 2 lbs in 1week

pilates is a muscle strengthening system that combines yoga and muscle toning to sculpt,lengthen, and tone your muscles.it works, but i recommend that it is combined with a cardio routine that elivates your heart-rate.also, be sure to eat right and stay postive, remeber that losing weight takes time and ambition GOOD LUCK and stay healty!

Ht. 5'5", Today: 172 lb (BMI %tile: 96) - I am new at this, but I am 172 lbs and 5'5. I have tried everything from hollywood diet to just trying to eat healthier, and its embrassing to say, but I cant even say that my problem is I always gain the weight back, becasue I cant even lose weight in the first place. I have very much trouble staying on a diet and I need some help! I am willing to include weight training and exercise daily in my plan to lose weight but I need diet help, I am very inactive! any help would be soooo much appericated!~God Bless

You need to start eating healthier ,exercising daily,and being more active. For eating healthy you should only drink one small glass of pop or juice a day and the rest water , eat one small sweet snack a day and the rest fruits and veggies but eat 3 regular meals a day but dont over do it past one plate. For exercising you should do 50 situps twice a day ,50 leg lifts teice a day on each side ,and go up and down the stairs 10 times ( 1 up and down counts as 1) a day. Since you are innactive you should pick a sport you like and try it for me I have cheerleading every Sunday,Gymnastics on Monday,and Karate on Tuesdays. If your not into sports much you should try riding your bike around with your friends,walking the dog,going for a swim,etc. Hope this helps you out.
