I would do anything to get skinny. I keep trying to eat less and I can do that for a while then I just eat everything I can see. I was at my auntys house today and everyone was in the garden and I was going inside to wash my hands and I saw the cookie tin in the kitchen so I just took about 6 and ate them in the bathroom even thogh I had just had lunch.Its like I cant stop.I have gained lots of weigh since i was 7 before that I was quite skinny.People keep saying I am gaining weigh. I no I am realy a fat preson now and I hate myself. I would like to die better than this. also my mom hates fat people and my parents tease me about my weigh all the time. and I gained even more while there is no school. I hate myself so much.

Dear Lulu, I had the same problem.Well still do. But my grandperents helped. They have a sweet-free house,well that is what I call it. They have nothing but helthy food in the fridge,counter,cabinets. So you said that you eat anything in your path,so now all you eat is healthy stuff. and at the supermarket I have no help for that. just start incorporating more activity into your daily routine, and make some food switches. Instead of having frosted wheat, have half frosted wheat and half plain wheat, or instead of having fries, have a baked potato. Making healthier food choices will really help, and you'll be able to stick with it better than some diet in which you have to cut out certain foods. Plus, you can still eat whatever food you want, just not too much of the junk.

Ht. 5'4", Today: 185 lb (BMI %tile: 98) - I'm 5'4 and 185 pounds. I hate going to the mall with my friends because they are always wearing tank tops and shorts and i have to wear loose T-shirts and jeans or baggy pants. Even during the summer. It's really embarassing. Since school is starting soon I would really like to loose some weight so I can go back a new person. I have tried to diet but it nevers works for me. hey i know what you feel like,at the beginning of last year i was size 14 then i walked home everyday from school(it's bout a half hour walk) i went from a size 14 to a size 8 in about 10 weeks,i felt amazizng then i started to catch a ride and now i'm size 11 again so what i'm saying is it'sok you can do it

It's happening again. I'm on a serious diet and I've been on one for about 6 days. I'm excercising a great amount and cut my eating down to three very small healthy meals a day. The problem is... I'm very weak all the time. I have trouble excercising and even just walking with this new diet. And yesterday, I collapsed while jogging from exhaustion. (but I didn't pass out like last time). My dad says I have to eat more so I get the proper nutrients. But won't that defeat the purpose of dieting? How much more should eat while still not eating a lot?

There could be one or two problems in your diet: Either you're eating less than 1,200 calories a day (Meaning you don't have enough calories for energy) or you are exersising so much that you become exausted and can't exersise anymore.

I thought I'd start psting a exercise journal on the bulletin board. Reply if you think i need to change sum thin. Exercise- 50 crunches 20 squats a thirty minute aerobics video 35 leg lifts and 30 minutes of doing different exercises.

you don't have to do that much exercising to lose weight, I exercised for like 20 min a day (every other day) and just snacked a little less and lost 40 pounds

Ht. 5'7", Today: 175 lb (BMI %tile: 94), Goal: 140 lb - Hi. I am about 5'7 and weight 175. I wear anywhere from a 13-15 in pants. I would like to weight 140. I need to flatten my stomach. Band starts in a couple of weeks and my uniform doesn't fit wonderfully. It there any exericises that would help quickly. Thanks for your imput.

I just was looking at my photo album one day and I saw how skinny I was in 2nd grade but now I look like a cow and everything is going wrong because of it. My boyfriend broke up with me and I cant find another date I am always made fun of by my closest friends I hate myself sometimes I sit in my room on my bed in a ball and say I WISH I WERE DEAD over and over again hope'n that it will really happen. I weight areound 150lbs and I eat when I am sad and when I am bored and its hard to stay on diets!

hey it is the same way with me ! but u know u shouldnt watch that much TV because u know all the steriotypes about u r only pretty if u r skinny which just so happens is NOT true. If u want to keep ur self from being sad or sumthin do a workout ypou enjoy or take a yoga or dance class if u want! but yes the best thing to do is exercise when u r sad because exercising makes u happy it is proven! good luck!

I think weight loss buddies help cuz if you start to get a craving for something you can go online and see if they are on so it is nice to have more then one so you can talk to them when you have a craving.

Everyone- I might have learned something wonderful- at the bookstore I was looking through a book called "101 ways to STOP eating after dinner" by Nancy Buthcer and here is a quote- "Pinch your ears. Applying pressure to the front of your ears may decrease your appetite, according to reflexologists." I don't know about you but I'm going to try it!
