OK, hey everybody. I'm 12, 5'3, and wiegh 140 lb. I really need help...I have a great routine: I am only eating dinner and I'm jogging around my block and doing 5 minutes of wieght-lifters in the morning and night. But sometimes I just cant help myself. It's so easy to skip meals...but not snacks. If any one has a faster wieght-loss solution, mail me at fire_rocks_12@yahoo.com or reply. hey. actually, skipping meals is not that healthy. you might think that it will help you lose weight, but it will just make you more hungry, which causes you to eat more later (at dinner time, or snacking.) you can eat all three meals a day and still be healthy. for breakfast you could have a banana or an orange or something that is good for you. also, breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day, so you shouldn't want to skip it. you might even do better in school. (not saying you dont do great.) i think you should just eat three HEALTHY meals a day (and that will help you to stop snacking so much) and keep excersising daily (try to gradually increase how much you do.)

by skipping meals, u temt yourself more! And, u aren''t losing fat, you're losing mucsle, which helps u lose fat faster. U need 5-6 fist-sized meals everyday, and exercise aerobics 1-2 hours everyday, and you'll lose like,5-6 pounds a week, or even more! Good luck! And, don't starve your self, or become belimic, or anerexic, because when u lose weight, if u do by skipping meals, which u probably won't, u will look gross, like those too, too, 80 pound models, which aren't attractive at all! So,go on a healthy diet, and try to keep in your mind that you r trying to be fit instead of trying to lose weight. Trust me, i lost like 20 sumthing pounds on this non-sugar, non-fried diet,and aerobics everyday. Good luck!

Hon, one thing for sure that won't work is skipping breakfast and lunch. Eat three meals a day. you need calories to have energy. Feel good about yourself! When you skip breakfast, you might tend to to eat more at night, and that is the most inefficient way of eating healthily cause the food you eat is turned into fat cause you dont do anything with it. My brother lost 20 pounds doing his exercise bike 30 minutes a day about 5 days a week. My other brother M.S. after skipping breakfast and lunch lost about 20 pounds and was really weak he was like a toothpick that could be snapped in half so don' do that. Just feel good about your self and work out about 3-5 days a week for about 20-40 minutes a day.

DO NOT SKIP MEALS!!!! it's not healthy, makes you feel horrible, and doesn't work. eat three meals a day with healty snacks
