Ht. 5'6", Wt. 194.6 - well, lost 2lbws this week (went from 196.6 even though i had it that my weight was 195). for the effort that i put in, though- i wish that i had lost more...oh well- i have to figure out how to lose body fat poercentage. my body fat percentage is at 36 and that's high risk- a healthy body fat percentage for my age is about 25- really good is like 22 or 20- but that's like pro athelete good. i am fustrated- i have stayed at 36% bodyfat this week- any one have any specifics on losing bodyfat- i have been doing cardio and trying to build muscle and eating 1200-2000 calories per day- usually in the 1500 range with plenty of protien and fiber. what am i doing wrong?

the thing is is that i do feel it- and i drink more thanenough water (like 10 8oz glasses a day) so i do not undersatand why i am losing weight but not losing body fat! i have a very well balanced diet- i just don't know how long it takes to lose fat and why i did not lose any thins week:( thank you for the input, though- maybe i should amp up my weight lifting to fatigue instead of "holy crap my (insert body part here) is going to fall off" mode...argh

first r u maybe not feeling it when u lift weights cuz if u cant feel anything then ull just become leaner and wont build any muscle and r u drinkin enough water just start ajournal with everything u do to loose weight and then check it cuz u no whut u need to do maybe ur not doin something that u no u have to doa nd tell everyone on here to do(we thank u a lot) but maybe u dont realize that ur not doin it so try writing down everything u do from lifting weights to excercize to whut u eat...good luck and thanx for all ur help
