Ht. 5'2, Wt. 159 - Hey guys I successfully lost 51 lbs in a year but I did that without counting cals like strictly. I of course eliminated all the bad foods from my diet and cut out the sitting around and stuff and getting up and working out and walking everywhere. But I'm still not at my goal weight and it's taking a long time so should I start counting cals/carbs like most dieters do? or just do what I'm doing. I dunno :( it's just taking forever to get to 130.

Reply from Claire, Age 17 - 04/23/06 - IP#: 24.239.149.xxx I don't eat any junk but yeah I think I won't count cals...it'll complicate things for me. I hate math anyway lol
Reply from Julie, Age 17 - 04/23/06 - IP#: 4.242.171.xxx I, personally, am against counting calories, for anyone. I think you should just up your exercise a bit, or if you can cut back on some junk (if you still eat any)
Reply from claire, Age 14 - 04/23/06 - IP#: 84.92.133.xxx once you have been on you diet for a while yhour body becomes amune to the amount of fat and calories your consuming so you stop loosing weight. A good way to tackle this is to either cut back on even less fat and calories or exercise more than you are at the moment! hope i helped.
