Ht. 5'2, Wt. 159 - Ok, so I'm going to start counting cals.
How many cals should I be consuming in one day? and on the Nutrition Facts label on the back of foods...should I be counting the FAT CALORIES or the CALORIES only because they have those two types of cals on the back and what if my mom cooks something and the Cals and the cals in the food are unknown, how many cals should I put it as? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE REPLY! don't make me feel like I write on here for mere passerbys that don't comment back. Thank you!

I am also against counting calories, but anyways, you should count both, and make sure that your fat calories are only about 1/3 of your total calories.

Yeah Terry..that's what I've originally been doing but I just thought counting carbs will lead to better results. I dunno?

Well you should count the overall calories ,not just the ones from fat. Also the avearge teenager needs about 2000 cals and about 1500 cals a day to loose weight.Try typing in calorie counter into a search engine and the calories of food should come up.
