Ht. 5'2", Wt. 397 - Hi guys and girl, I'm Crystal I'm 13 and 5'2" and weigh 397lbs. I weigh almost 400lbs. I can barely move and all I do is go from my bed to the computer to the bathroom all day, I watch tv all the time and my parents bring me my food because whenever I walk I get out of breath easily everyone has to help me to get up. Even when I get up from my bed to go to the computer I get out of breathe and feel like I'm going to faint. My belly is huge and my parents and family always tell me I'm so fat and huge, do you have any suggestions on how to start a healthy life style? I can't do a lot because I'm so heavy so if you have suggestions make sure they aren't extreme. Thank you.

Your only 13 yrs old, you can turn yourself around. Cut your calorie intake to 1000 a day and drink water. Get off the computer and move. Im overweight, but Im nowhere near 400 lbs, and wouldnt allow myself to get that big. Get off your butt and move.

Move around as much as posible and only drink water nothin else at all and tell ur parents to by only heathly food so u can lose the weight! i belive that u can do this it will take some time but just take it slow and u will start sheding the pounds!

It will only be 1200 calories but you will be eating often enough that you won't get hungry very often, if at all. Then just take it slow and walk for a few more minutes each day. If you have trouble moving around, I recommend hand weights to build up some muscle. Good luck! We're all here to support you.

It sucks wicked bad that your family if discouraging but this is your chance to prove them wrong. Um, I was thinking of excercise type things that aren't extreme and one thing I thought of was... while you're in bed squeeze up all your muscles really tight and hold it for as long as you feel like and then relax. Do it as many times as it feels ok. ABSOLUTELY ANY EXTRA MOVEMENT BURNS CALORIES even if it's just a few. so jiggle your whole body or raise your arms or bend your knees. Anything extra will help. Put on some music when you're alone and move to be beat however much you're able to. It's hard to change your eating habbits when you're not getting your own food but try to stay in tune to when you're full and stop when you feel that way. Your body it telling you it doesn't need any more food. Good luck. Let me know if you think this sounds ok.
