Ht. 5`9, Wt. 190 - OK i have muscle's so i dont look as big as it sound that what the dr. said! but its summer and school is out and i am entering a new school( high school) andi really want to look good 4 the new guys bc u dont find any of them my heigth and ima gonna try 4 the 10 graders this year so i need to lose about 20 pounds and i need sum muscle tone in a couple areas and suggestions? help me plz

you shouldn't lose weight so other people will like you, you should lose weight for you. don;t go for 10th graders either, they're the worst crowd to get messed up in

first of all, you shouldnt lose weight for guys..you should lose it for yourself. If a guy liked you, they would like you for your personality and for who you are. Ok to lose weight you should cut out all bad/junk food such as chips, cookies, icecream, etc...but it is ok to have those things once a week or so for a treat. Eat A LOT of fruits and vegetables and drink as much water as you can get your hands on. Water works wonders when you want to lose weight. Make sure you eat between 1200 and 1500 calories a day to keep your metabolism up and running. When you start exercising do things such as sports, running, dancing..I recommend workout tapes. I do Denise Austin kickboxing workouts. They might be cheesy, but they work! Exercise for at least 30-60 minutes a day. Either before or after dinner...i would exercise right before you eat because after you exercise and you go to eat, your body is still burning calories as you eat. Exercising after you eat will cause your body to burn off muscle not fat. For toning, you should really try windsor pilates...I do the windsor pilates ab workout with maurie windsor and it works so well!!! And something to remember is that never eat less than 1200 calories a day because if you eat lets say, below 1000 your body will go into starvation mode and once your body gets used to it, you cant eat no more than 1000 cals. Once you do, you will gain the weight back. So make sure to stay in the 1200 and 1500 calorie intake range. GOOD LUCK! =]jenna
