Ht. 5'7, Wt. 195 - So far today I had-Breakfast//2 cups of fuit salad(mangos, starwberries and grapes)Snack//1oz part skim cheese, diet coke Lunch//2pieces of 12 grain bread w/ extra lean chicken, lettuce, tomaotes and 2 medium pickles, a glasss of sugar free lemonade. I am planning on having a snack (maybe fat free yougurt and banana?) later and a small portion of dinner with no potaotes or rice. After dinner i will go to the gym for 90 minutes, and maybe a 45 minute walk this afternoon. Does this sound like a good day? Also a few questions, my birthday dinner is on Saturday and i need to choose a cake, what kind should i get? I was thinking maybe i could have an angel food with strawberries...?? One more thing i am going on holidays and we will bascially be travelling in the car a lot, meaning very little exercise, and always eating out..I mean there is only so much salad I can eat! Any good restraunt slections that are healthy?? And what should i do for exercise?? Thanks tons!

I think you did great today food-wise, just make sure not to kill yourself w/ exercise, and an evening or afternoon walk should be pleasureable! As for your cake, angelfood and strawberries sound great! You can jazz it up w/ fat free frozen yogurt or light ice cream, i prefer double churned light, or fat free cool whip. If you want to make it prettier, simply add some doo-dads like flowers so you won't be tempted to by any sugary toppings. I hope you like it! Lastly, well 1 slice of veggie pizza is good on the road, non-cream based soups, lean meat or seafood sqewers (can't spell, sorry!), don't forget about desserts like fresh fruits. If you can, I recommend going to Applebees. Chooce one of the delicious Weight Watchers entrees, even if you're not on it, becuase at leat you're getting some portion control and nutrients. HAFor exercise, if you can't walk. use water bottle filled in the car as arm weights and do that for ten or so minutes, or sitting crunches. Take a book or CD or Ipod to take your mind of eating. Have fun on vacation! Lots of luck- Izzy
