Ht. 5'9, Wt. 180 - I'm really nervous to weigh myself tomorrow. I did really well this week excercising and eating healthy, but I ruin it every saturday when i'm out with my friends. I had 3 cookies, a smoothie, and a milkshake today. It's completey disgusting! Hopefully the good work i've done throughout the week will still make it so i lost some weight!
P.S does anyone know anything good I could bring to lunch at school? I bring sandwhichs and like fruit or something every day but i'm getting sick of sandwichs--any ideas?

p.s. theres nothing wrong with a healthy smoothie - blend up some frozen fruit, skim milk and yogurt together - thats nice and healthy!

well at least you can pinpoint the situations that mess you up! maybe you can find something to do with your friends that doesnt revolve around eating junkfood....maybe ask them to go rollerskating or ice skating or to a dance or something instead. just remember not to deprive yourself or you will go crazy and binge at the end of the week. theres nothing wrong with having one cookie every now and then if you are eating healthy the rest of the time. if you do get a milkshake or whatever every now and then just make it a small one and you are ok as long as you dont do it too often. make a list of healthier treats to splurge on rather than super junk food. eg. a cone from mcdonalds is 150 calories and 3.5 grams of fat. not something to have everyday, but way better than a milkshake and 3 cookies!
