Ht. 6'0, Wt. ---- - ok...will someone please explain to me what High Fructose corn syrup is and why it's unhealthy and if it affects weightloss or not...and also explain to me the difference in total,saturated,unsateurated and trans fats? and what to avoid and whats ok? please im confused...One more thing is yogurt,protein shakes,and protein bars considered processed foods?...im trying to avoid all unneccassary processed foods...Thanks!

LDL or your bad cholesterol that can cause heart attacks are lowered by your HDL cholesterol. Transfats and saturated fats are bad for your heart because they increase your bad cholesterol levels. transfats are worse than saturated fats because they can lower your good cholesterol levels. try and avoid transfats and saturated fats in your diet.hope this helped
