Ht. 5'2", Wt. 231 - Hello everyone! 4 weeks ago i weighed myself and I weight 228 then yesterday I weighed myself and I weighed 231! I was so hurt! So I decieded that I was going to start a diet today! I plan on not eating any fried foods and drinking only water. However, I did not start my diet today instead I ate fried chicken and 2 debbie snacks now I feel upset that I ate that! However, I plan on starting tomorrow. I bought a calender so everyday thayt I stick to my plan I put a mark on that day! I want to lose 3-5 pounds by Jan 11. I also plan to go walking 4 out of seven days a week! It's gonna be tough letting go all of my old habbit, but I know in the future I will be a better and helthier person. Any suggestions or comments and motivation please comment!

Reply from Claire, Age 17 - 01/03/07 - IP#: 24.215.156.xxx Hey I'm glad you made the decision to lose weight! :) once you start eating healthier and exercising regularly...the weight will melt off, just make sure you eat the right foods and drink lots and lots of water! Don't give up even if you see no results in the first week or two because your body will go through such a transition that it will take time to lose the first couple of lbs but once you lose the first lbs...your weight will melt off left and right because you start losing a lot of weight when you first start your diet. I'm glad you've made the decision to be a healthier person :) once you make a DECISION, no one should be able to get in your way. Tempations will be everywhere but with your determination you can conquer them! just have your mind set and never ever give up! Good Luck!!! :)
