I WENT FROM 165 POUNDS TO 148.5!!!!!!!
i can do this. i really can.
i have really learned that if i mess up, that doesn't mean i fail. it means i messed up and life goes on and i can still lose weight.
losing weight is making me SOOO excited for this summer! i refuse to buy any new clothes until i reach my goal.
HURRAY
everyone can do this.
i dont stay away from any food. i eat small amounts of whatever i want. i don't even do that much exercise, but i'm not lazy. i purposely don't drive myself to school, i let a friend take me and i walk home. instead of elevators, i take the stairs.
also, chores are a motivation for me! all exercise counts!
you don't have to kill yourself to lose weight.
good luck to everyone. if you put your mind to it, you can do it.
everyone has the tools and the knowledge to lose weight, you just have to stay focused!!

month and a half, but keep in mind the first 2 weeks i lost really fast. im losing 2-3 pounds a week now

it's taken me about a month and a half, but i lost fast at first. things are a little slower now but still good!

i seriously ate what i felt like eating in small portions. of course, i ate reasonably healthy meals. 3 healthy meals a day. i stop when i'm full. for snacks i have peanut butter and pretzels, a small handful of chips, a yogurt, etc..(i usually have 2 snacks a day around 200 calories)
i eat steak, chicken, porkchops, pasta..anything for dinner! but a CONTROLLED portion. cereal, pancakes, whole grain muffins, oatmeal...anything for breakfast. but a CONTROLLED portion. for lunch i always have a sanwhich(not white bread ick) and a small baggie of chips or 2 cookies(basically...one small treat!) and fruit or yogurt.
i walk home from school just about everyday(20 minutes) and just try to move around a lot. i dont go to a gym. i dont kill myself with runs.
ive stayed motivated and it's been somewhat easy to be honest. at the end of the night, i feel satisfied :)
and it's taken me about a month and a half, but the first 2 weeks i lost pretty quickly. im losing about 2 pounds a week now, 3 if im lucky!

hey! How long has it taken you to get like 20lbs off? Its my new years resoloution to lose some weight (50). now i realize that i have a school dance next month and want to lose some pounds before the "big night".i also want a new bathing suit!tell me how!pleeeeease!

Congrats. I hope I can lose some weight like 20 or more pounds before summer. So that would mean I would be down to 175.
