Reply from Lindsey, Age 11 - 04/03/07 - IP#: 207.200.116.xxx Jump roping is an excellent form of cardio. It gets your heart stronger by making it pump faster. It strengthens your legs and abs. It is just amazing excersize. If your heart is pumping really hard, that isn't good for you. I mean, you should feel it, but it could be dangerous if it went too fast. So you should take small breaks and in time you will be able to do it longer, which means you are getting more fit. Good luck and keep on jumping!!

I was going to do it again today, but I'm in too much pain to. Hopefully I can do it tomorrow. I don't get too out of breath doing them.
Reply from kim, Age 16 - 04/02/07 - IP#: 71.124.57.xxx Yes i used to get out of breath very quickly so i start slow like switch it up like do jump rope 10x and then do ten jumping jacks and then if you need a 1min break and then start again so if you plan on wotking ouy for 5min it will actuall take ten because you are taking every other minute to catch your breath GOOD LUCK
