Ht. 5'7", Start: 240 lb, Today: 184 lb, Goal: 140 lb - I didn't get to run this morning. I was quite mad. I was going to do it on my treadmill, but my boyfriend's ride for work didn't come so he stayed home. I don't like exercising when he's around, so I didn't. But I think I'm going to take a speed walk when I get home, and see how I like it. Maybe I'll do that instead this week and see if I lose any weight. If I do, I might just do that for work outs until I quit losing weight with it, then switch to jogging. Anyways, I was really excited because yesterday I had a salad. I've never been a salad person. It was one of my ultimate goals, to be able to eat a salad and not be completely disgusted. I thought it tasted pretty good. I just wanted to share my personal accomplishment with everyone.

Have you thought about trying Leslie Sansone's "Walk Away the Pounds" DVDs/videos? I know you said previously that just walking doesn't really do much for you, but her DVDs have really helped me, and I didn't think just walking was doing much for me either. You could try the 2 mile brisk walk(that's the one I do a lot), and it'll make sure you're at a good fat burning pace. She also has a walk/jog one that could really work for you since you said you would like to start jogging. There are countless others, too. It's just an idea, but they have REALLY helped out a lot.
