I just have a couple questions. 1) I need to lose 20 pounds or so. What's a good calorie goal each day? Like, should I go under 1,200? Okay, and 2) I have a trampoline that I jump on everyday for an hour or so, about how many calories would you say that burns? Thanks guys 3

Reply from Alyssia, Age 17 - 05/02/07 - IP#: 67.174.141.xxx Don't go under 1200. It's dangerous. I eat 1500 typically each day. Sometimes I eat more, sometimes I eat less. But I try to at least reach 1200. You'd burn approximately 240 calories on the trampoline for an hour according to some website I found that uses weight and duration of activity. Personally, I think it's more. All websites say different things though. I figured it'd be more. I get tired after jumping on the trampoline for a short amount of time, but I can jump rope for 30 minutes and not be tired. And it says that jumping rope burns more.
