From me, Age 17 - 05/05/07 - IP#: 142.68.42.xxx Click here to reply Ht. 5'5", Start: 210 lb, Today: 180 lb, Goal: 140 lb - This post may seem to all of you as being mean or rude but I am just going to tell the truth and be nice about it. How come some people post what they eat the whole day and then ask how good they are doing? I mean, if it is healthy and you ate the amount of calories your body needs in a day and exercised, then obviously you did good and you don't need another person's opinion on how you did because someone might say "try to cut this out ...blah blah blah" because they are trying to give you advice...and that could be a put down and make it sound like you didn't do good on your diet because someone said so. Also, I was reading some posts earlier and one girl said she was 128 lbs and overweight... my sister was anorexic weighing that and she was BONE skinny! Seriously, get real. If you are 128 lbs and claim to be overweight, that is just a put down for teens who are actually overweight. We are all here for the same reason [to lose weight,be healthy, live a healthy lifestyle] so stop complaining about how you wish you were "this" size like your friend and how your friend can eat so much and not gain weight ... everyone has different metabolisms and some people can lose weight and some people can gain weight. Who cares about what other people's weights are and worry about your own. I have noticed that many people say how their friend is losing weight but she doesn't eat and how you are trying the healthy way to lose weight but nothing is happening ... WHO CARES what your friend is doing, you know she is the one who is losing weight the unhealthy way and you are doing WAY better than her because you are losing weight the "right" way. Weight loss takes time. Eat junkfood occasionly or avoid it completly, try to avoid take out food, drink a lot of water, exercise daily, try not to eat anything in the night... and you WILL lose weight in time.(I lost 30 lbs and so can all of you) good luck everyone~!

Reply from Cassie, Age 17 - 05/05/07 - IP#: 64.17.94.xxx Good point. I'm tired of seeing the posts of what people eat during the day. You know what? i dont care what you eat....but then again, expressing people's eating habits on the internet is prolly helping them...but, annoying for other people!!!!
Reply from Rebecca, Age 13 - 05/05/07 - IP#: 64.59.144.xxx Someone can be overweight at 128. It just depend on their height!
Reply from Lyndsay, Age 15 - 05/05/07 - IP#: 71.112.62.xxx Hey there. I weigh 128 pounds, and I am overweight according to the bmi calculator on this site. Unlike most of you probably are I am just barely 5 ft tall so 128 is high weight for my heighth. You'd have to see me. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to offend anyone who is bigger than me saying I need to lose weight. But remember, weight is just a number- it's how healthy you are and how you look. & I have too much fat on my body and too much weight for my height.
Reply from Ashley., Age 14 - 05/05/07 - IP#: 24.127.219.xxx It really just depends on the body type, as far as the over weight part. I have friends that are just touching 100 or over and they're not bone thin. I have friends who are like 120-ish and they are over weight, but thas'ts because of that's their body type. And as far as the eating goes, it really just depends. sSome people like the extra opinion and want to know what others think. Why do you think people use stuff such as L.A. Weight Loss and Weight Watchers and such? It pretty much is a tracker for how you're doing and people tell you what to do the same and different. The only difference here is that it's free and it's advicee being given from other teens.
