Here is how my day went. 8am: cheerios cereal bar on my way to school. 3pm: subway roasted chicken sub. For dinner I had a mcdonalds grilled chicken salad with low fat italian dressing. Its hard for me to not eat fast food on saturdays because its all my family has time for but it sure is better than my usual bigmac. I'm on my way home to ride the exercise bike :]. How did you guys do?
Reply from Lyndsay, Age 15 - 05/26/07 - IP#: 71.121.197.xxx You go to school on Saturday? That sucks! Fast food can be fairly healthy and the Subway and salad from Mcdonald's were great choices. I'm guessing you only got in about 900 calories though...that's very low. 1,200-1,500 calories is good for most dieting people. I would suggest next time adding in some healthy snacks like nuts, fruit, yoghurt, rice cakes with peanut butter, veggies, 100-calorie pack..and you should add some fruit to your breakfast. Good luck.
