Ht. 5'5", Start: 145 lb, Today: 150 lb, Goal: 130 lb - (starting and current weights are switched) i'm really disappointed with myself. i was on vacation this past week and it was a great oppurtunity to lose weight cause i was like 10x more active than normal but i ate like crap. i didnt binge but i ate like i used to before i cared about my weight. i dont have a scale at home so i weigh myself very rarely, but i dont think i gained or lost last week. today was so bad i am really embarrased especially after reading posts from so many of you guys that eat so healthy. i had a really greasy sausage&egg sandwich, a couple handfuls of cheeseballs, like 8 chicken nuggets from the freezer, and 2 brownies. i havent had dinner yet but i will try to eat very little. its really hot outside so once it cools down a little im gonna jump rope for 20-30 minutes. i was wondering- when im jumproping i get really really out of breath and my pulse starts going like crazy(way above the target zone)should i rest for a minute or keep going cause im burning so many calories? (the reason i get out of breath so fast is cause my jump rope is too short and i have to jump kinda high haha) thanks! :)

i have found that usually, people think that when they try really hard and push it, your heart rate is going extremely fast, well, that doesnt help much. if your around age 15-18, you should be excercising for 10 minutes then do a 10 second time to count your heart rate. it should be between 21-24 beats in ten seconds. doing this, you are not only keeping yourself not so out of breath, but it heklps you lose weight faster than always exerting yourself to your limits! Try it! :)
