I came across this website by accident when I was looking for some exercises to do. I am huge. And I am not saying that because I weigh like 5 or 10 pounds over what I should weigh. All my friends have the body types that they can eat what and whenever they want and not do any exercise and they don't gain an ounce. Well I am not like that at all. Im convinced that if I look at something I gain a couple pounds. I really need to lose weight. I turn 15 in a month and then its only a year til I can drive. I hate that in some cars the seat belt is tight. I hate that in school I just fit in the desk. I hate getting out of breath going up the stairs. Most of all I hate gym class and getting compared to other people. My family isn't over weight like I am so I feel sometimes like I'm letting them down in some way. I don't want to be like I am. I want to shed the pounds a fat... I want to be a role model for people not the person that avoids answering questions in class because Im affrad of what the people think... Does anyone need to lose as much as me?.. It is ALOT.. and I get depressed about it all the time... so if there is anyone that needs a buddy like me just let me know... So..... What are the best food plans? What are the best exercises? I know that I can only loss so much at a tme but what is the best ways to do that? What has been the best for you?...

I have lost 60, and am at 180 right now. I think you've got the determination and drive. I know you can do this. And I want to help you through this. Well i guess i can help, well one of my sis. lost weight on the low carb dinner and my other sis lost alot of weight on the atkins, oh and they both worked out. so working out helps.
Reply from lrc, Age 17 - 05/31/07 - IP#: 142.177.27.xxx eat breakfast, eat lunch, eat supper and have a healthy snack when you feel hungry. drink water with all your meals and if you want you can add crystal light packages in the water. walking for an hour a day and jumping jacks are good for losing weight. any exercise that can get your heart beating fast means that you will burn more calories & lose weight. so try to get your heart pumping~ i walked everyday for an hour but still ate junk food and take out food and i managed to lose 20 lbs. if you are really determined to lose weight, walk everyday or do some kind of exercise and eat healthier and if you break your diet its ok =) just go back on it !! good lUCK!!!
Reply from Claire, Age 18 - 05/31/07 - IP#: 64.131.205.xxx You seem like such a strong person and to lose weight is a big commitment and you sound very commited :) Ok I said this to someone else and I hope these tips help you... it's long but just means I care enough to post it for you :) ...Try to get lots of aerobic exercise in and eat in small portions. I eat small meals every 3 hours and I don't eat anything after 7:30 pm. Eating every 3 hours will boost up your metabolism which will help you lose weight faster. Drink LOTS of water and substitute coke with diet coke. Treat yourself once in a while but remember, alwayss small amounts. If you're craving chips or something, don't eat directly from the bag. Place a handful in a bowl. If you're craving chocolate, try to eat dark chocolate instead. Eat a variety of fruits, vegtables, meat, etc to balance out your meals and nutrition. Don't eat three hours before going to bed. Walk after your meals for digestion. Be active, if you're watching TV, try to break out some squats or pushups during commercials. Chew all of your food and eat slowly, be concious of what's going in your mouth. Don't rush with your meals. Plan your meals beforehand. ALWAYS eat breakfast, studies say that people who don't eat breakfast weigh MORE than people who do. It's the first meal of the day and it gives you the energy you need. Eat whole wheat and eliminate all white foods from your diet. Don't judge yourself, don't say you're ugly, fat, monsterous or worthless. Think positive and positive things will happen. Don't be obsessed with the scale (I was in the beginning) because remember that losing weight is a gradual process. Before doing all of this. You must make the decision to change your life, to change it for the better and be healthy. Once you make the decision, NO one can stop you. Not even those losers who tease. Ignore all of those people who mock you and soon you'll find yourself to be confident. I've told you all that I know, lol now it's up to you. I've done all of this and lost about 55 lbs so I'm positive that if you work hard at it, you will lose even more. Good Luck!!
