I'm assuming they are the general magazine workouts that give you muscle toning exercises. They are good because they help to build muscles, and having more muscles help to burn more fat. If you don't want to do both on the same day, I would suggest alternating. Perhaps treadmill three times a week, and cosmogirl twice a week. The treadmill burns more calories, but building muscles is also really important.
