Ht. 5'3", Start: 190 lb, Today: 190 lb, Goal: 145 lb - Ok well i'm 17 years old, i've been overweight for quite awhile now, I lost weight once but that was because I was really sick and I gained it back and more, I'm not sure what my actual weight is but I wear a size 16/17 in pants and I want to get to a size 10, I feel that should be the size cause i'm short, can anyone help me on starting this diet? food-wise? exercising won't be a problem

eat lots of fruit, vegies, and whole grains. nothing white(white bread, white pasta, flour) also eat egg WHITES, low fat cheeses, and lean meat like turkey and chicken. make sure u eat a balanced diet. u can still have sweets...in moderation. otherwize u will get really bad cravings and end up binging but try to get the low fat/healthier version of that sweet(like low fat ice cream) eat things high in fiber(whole wheat breads, oatmeal, some cereals)...those will keep u full longer and if u eat in for breakfast then u ont eat as much during the rest of the day. remember 2 drink lots of water too and u can flavor it with cristal lite packets if u dont like it plain.
