Reply from kade, Age 19 - 01/08/08 - IP#: 71.8.231.xxx they are right that you are mostly loosing water weight, and once you rehydrate you will gain some back. ofcourse some people loose a bit water weight right away, which is normal. id keep excercising, but loose the extra clothes. your most likely going to make yourself sick doing this, and its not really healthy.
Reply from Rachel, Age 16 - 01/08/08 - IP#: 66.66.85.xxx This is just a comment to the girl who commented last. Overweight people tend to carry a lot of excess water so although most of what she lost is probably just water weight, it's still beneficial because she won't be as bloated. Losing water weight can make you appear as though you've lost actual fat because sometimes you can be carrying like seriously 10 pounds of just water. That said, be careful when you're doing that much exercising in all those clothes because you don't want to get overheated or dehydrated. Drink water before and after.
Reply from Deanna, Age 14 - 01/08/08 - IP#: 24.62.245.xxx It's most likely you are losing water weight. Wearing tons of layers only makes you sweat, which is losing water weight, that only looks good on the scale. So it's not fat, which is what you really want. Exercising with layers can even overheat you, so be careful.
