Ht. 5'7", Start: 167 lb, Today: 162 lb, Goal: 110 lb - Hi. I posted a few days ago about inspirations and all, but I wanted to know what kind of workouts you all do, because apparently I'm doing the wrong ones. It's all hardcore "billy blanks boot camp", and I think it's actually making me gain muscle instead of losing weight, even though I sweat A LOT. I don't want to look like a guy, so I don't want to gain muscle at all. I just want to be thin. But anyways, I've been working out everyday for a week and haven't lost anything yet. :( Help me?

Thank you for the kind support. I think ironicly, it is the work outs that prevent me from losing weight because I lost a pound today and I even ate pizza last night. Oh well. I'll just buy a tradmill and do that then, hah.

that's good. you want to gain muscle. the more muscle mass you have the more fat you burn. you can look skinny but still technically be fat b/c you'll have a high body fat percentage. and there's no way you can end up looking like a guy. even if you lifted the heaviest weights, you won't get buff. but billy blanks is cardio not really weight training, so you're probably not building that much muscle anyway. but if you're not losing any weight, i might just cut down on your calorie intake some, that should help a lot. sorry for the length. but good luck! :)
