Reply from kade, Age 17 - 01/22/08 - IP#: 76.84.186.xxx use common sense while trying to loose weight. you know that burning more calories than you take in is what makes you loose weight. there are lots of websites on the internet that tell you how many calories you should eat each day. but basically 1400-1700 is a good number to aim for, never eat less than 1200. you should eat 5 servings of fruits and veggies (raw or steamed, no fats) 1-2 servings of lean protien like grilled chicken or fish, or lean beef. get 3-4 servings of dairy, some studies say it helps you loose more belly fat. drink 8 glasses of water, tea, or sugarless drink, and dont have too much junk food. too stay on track i allow my self a certain junk food every day (i plan what im going to eat each day so that i can look forward to my snack) also make sure you eat whole grains, they have more fiber which keeps you full longer. as for excercise, do what you like. i hate running, so i dont make myself do it. depending on how in shape you are, you could start out just walking for thirty minutes, then upping the pace and length of your walk as you get stronger. or you could do an aerobics dvd, those are really fun.
