Ht. 5'4", Start: 210 lb, Today: 176 lb, Goal: 140 lb - Ok so I think I know what it is..or what could be a factor of my NOT losing any weight. Portion control. I know about this but I thought if you ate something healthy like salad..it didn't matter. So, every morning for breakfast I would eat a bigg plate of salad and by the time I was done my stomach hurt! and I knew that was a sign but I thought..hey it's salad, it can't be bad. I know about moderation and eating everything in small amounts but that just totally slipped my mind when I ate the salads every day. I also topped it with chicken and croutons (I know croutons aren't exactly healthy, they're just refined carbohydrates)...see what I mean, even when I know these thigns I continued and forgot :( I feel dumb. Can anyone tell me if that could've been a factor of my non-losing weight streak? because I Think it was but not sure. it could be a farctor to you not loseing it could also be what you put on your food how much salad dressing how may crutons those can add up very fast salad it self only has 15-20cals per 1 1/2 cups- 2 soooooo look at that ... a serving of meat itself is usally 200-450cals there so how much meat are you putting on your salad all those things could send you over

Definetly... portion control is a huge deal. Now lettuce alone isn't something to worry about... carrot, cucumbers, tomatos, all in moderation aren't going to make you gain... but when you add chicken, croutons, cheese, bacon bits... stuff like that you need to measure it out and calculate the calories. You will be surprised at home much it adds. You are doing great... but portion control will definetly help you get the rest of the weight off. Good luck!
