Ht. 5'7", Start: 178 lb, Today: 178 lb, Goal: 130 lb - hi, i'm shannon :) i'm new here. i joined because for the past year i have been in denial of how big i have gotten. two years ago i was 128lbs and then i just started eating horribly and gaining weight like crazy. yesterday i went to the doctor and i weighed in at 178lbs! im so sick of being big so i'm going to try to get back to my size two years ago. i have to eat every few hours or i get really dizzy and sick so this is my meal plan:
9:00 Special k 3/4 cup with 2% milk (200 calories)..CHECK
11:00 Banana (100 calories)...CHECK
3:00 Salad (lettuce, cucumber, grape tomato, carrots (100 calories) OR Two cups of fruit salad (150 calories)
5:00 Plum (30 calories)
7:00 Lean meat, one peice and two cups of veggies (Meat 160 calories, Brocoli 30 calories, 25 calories = 205 calories)
My doctor said that my meal plan is fine. Im also going to walk or run everyday and swim.

Sounds pretty good. Make sure to add in some dairy/soy and whole grains such as rice, bread etc, as well becuase they are good for you. And exercise is something you must consider as well. Best wishes and welcome!

Hey, im kinda new to this too lol about a week old. I can tell u that u have a very good meal plan. Don't forget the excerise! Thats going to be the big thing that is going to help u loose. Also get plenty of water because it makes u pee more and then u loose more.
