Ht. 6'0", Start: 245 lb, Today: 233 lb, Goal: 190 lb - yeah! i lost 8 pounds this week! i leave for school in a week
i have been eating 4 small meals a day, mostly chicken salads, for lunch and dinner, a cucumber for another and a greenpeper for another. i have been running 2 times a week andd lifting 3! i feel great!! i also jump rope on the days i lift...im not even hungry! everyone keep up the good work!

your doctor has serious issues if you are 6' and eating 1000 calories and he/she says it's fine. that's wrong and you are doing your body damage. I hope you realize it before it's too late. no, i am not a doctor, but i have take several college courses in nutrition and am minoring in it. not to mention, years of self-teaching through medical journals and books because i've always had struggles with my weight, and thus a craving to understand how the body functions. I wish you the best and hope you stay/get healthy. 1000 calories is not enough to keep your very tall frame out of starvations mode, you will see what I mean when you try to have a normal week after a few weeks of dieting.

not to be rude...but are you a doctor?! because i asked my doctor and he said it was perfectly fine....it is 1000 calories and he said that is a great diet for me...so i will say actually sorry but you are wrong and it is perfectly heathy for me...but thanks

um. i hope i misunderstood- because two servings of chicken salad and two very low-cal veggies is not enough calories to keep your body out of starvation mode!

i totally know how you feel about not feeling hungry. it's amazing how full you feel even though youre not eating as much. keep up the good work :)
