My mom works at a gym and is a manager/aerobics instructor/personal trainer and I always feel so huge next to her. And I do go into the gym a LOT, but I don't feel like I'm getting results. And I think it's because of my eating habits. Now, you can guess, with my mom being a gym freak, she eats REALLY healthy, so we don't have a lot of junk food around the house. But I over eat, and I definitely eat when I'm bored. I used to do weight watchers and I got down to about 155, but that was like 2 years ago, and I have since put on almost FIFTY POUNDS! That is insane! I want to get back to weight watchers, but it is so expensive! I think I just need to save up and do it? Anybody else with me?!

Reply from Jocelyn, Age 17 - 01/29/09 - IP#: 96.51.107.xxx Weight Watchers has an online program, I am not sure if you have to pay for it or not. There is also an online points calculator that you can use that is free, and I know from doing Weight Watchers that teenagers need around 25 points a day. Weight Watchers helped me lose about 35 pounds and actaully taught me how to lead a healthy lifestyle. Anyways, good luck! I am sure you can do it=)
Reply from Lauren, Age 14 - 01/28/09 - IP#: 98.114.225.xxx OMG! I have the same problem as you. Except my mom doesn't work at a gym. But I do go to the gym a LOT. I over eat a lot too. But I realized I am a binge eater and I need to fix my habits. I also do weight watchers but it doesn't work for me because of my binge eating. I just can't stop. Reply from DancingDamsel, Age 13 - 01/28/09 - IP#: 74.225.199.xxx No...I think you ought to rule out Weight Watchers or NutriSystem, etc. They don't work. Diets don't work. (Diet is just the word "die," with a T at the end, girl.) You need to change your overall eating style so what happened once to you doesn't happen again. You need to learn to eat right--but not just for losing weight. Let me ask you: what do you think will happen if I eat REALLLLY HEALTHY and lose 40 pounds and then go back to my normal junk food or over-eating self? I will gain it all (and more) back. Your mom can help you out on the track to eating healthy for always. Hope this helped, ^_^
