Ht. 5'7", Start: 230 lb, Today: 223 lb (BMI: 35), Goal: 130 lb - Done with my first week of Nutrisystem and 7 pounds down. I know my weight loss will slow from here on out, but I'm hoping to be 218-219 by the end of next week. I'm eating fruits and veggies (and fiber!) like crazy, and a lot less salt, fat, simple carbs, and calories than I normally do. I'm going to add in exercise this week to bump it up a bit.

if you already buy your own food- 400 isn't that much, especially if you eat out quite a bit like I used to. I say 400 because the plan itself is 300 but there are add-ins such as dairy, veggies, and fruit. The food isn't too bad at all- better than I would have made myself. Basically, you eat a very well balanced diet, low in simple carbs, high in fiber and protein. A lot of fruits and veggies. There is no specific exercise plan with nutrisystem- but the counselors do suggest exercising as it's important to your health on any diet plan.
