Reply from Melissa, Age 16 - 05/14/10 - IP#: 71.35.232.xxx Diets are NOT affective. You can't make a temporary change, you have to make a permanent change. Stop eating lots of sweets, carbs and other fattening foods. Drink lots of water, cut down on soda and exercise A LOT :). Be sure to treat yourself to something sweet once every two or three weeks. Maybe more often if you're exercising a lot. I've found that if I treat myself to something nice, I don't feel the need to eat desserts at partys and such. The thing you need to realize is, you need to eat healthier for the rest of your life and make healthy living apart of every day life but still know that one treat every now and again is OKAY as long as you don't go overboard.
