Ht. 5'3", Start: 216 lb, Today: 216 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 140 lb - Okay, recently i've been to the doctor and i've been diagnosed with something that could contribute to the fact that it's very difficult for me to lose weight. I was both relieved ad irritated hearing this. I felt like, for once, it wasn't my fault i'm bigger. but at the same time, i felt like it wasn't fair that it's so difficult for me. Anyway, the doctors say i'm very healthy in my condition but they want to keep an eye on me so it stays that way. I want to make it easier on them and myself by truly trying to lose weight to benefit my health.
I'm on my school's dance team, so during the week i work out at least 30 minutes from doing technique. But, it isn't quite enough. I was wondering what other people do to workout. I need new ideas. I can run, sure, but i want it to be more creative than that. What happens when i get sick of running? I'll want to stop and i'd lose all the progress i made. So, what else could i do to workout?
much appreciated! :)

ALSO, and i thought of this after i posted the message, I firmly believe in the buddy system. It's always nice to keep in contact with someone who is going through what you are. I'd like a friend like that. My friends here are skinny, and i know they'd help me, but it wouldn't really help. If i workout with them, I want to be able to keep up with them, not them slowing down to keep up with my pace.
SO, if anyone is willing to be my buddy, it will help both of us in the long run. With encouragement and and support, we can both succeed!
