From Jainie, Age 14 - 09/22/03 - IP#: 24.136.177.xxx Click here to reply Ht. 5'2", Today: 150 lb (BMI %tile: 95) - Hey evryone I have a Question and a problem---well i'm 14 and way round 150 which isnt that bad BUT i'm only 5"2- I wear a size 12/14 and i'd really love to just get down to a size 9 or 10. I've gone on tons ofdiets w/ my overweight mom--she has diabetes and i have alot of her traits. I'm afraid i will get diabetes too. The diets never really work cuz I don't drink enough of anything sodas, juice, or water. I probally drink 2 cups of anything a day. I got really despreate and so I started not eating as much and throwing it up. My mom found out so I said that I was sick and couldnt stop it I then began to do it more. My mom took me to the emerency room several tmes cuz she thought I couldnt help it indeed I could. That was 2 months ago and now I look back and I see I threw up for a month eating nothing--dr after dr--I.V after I.V--blood taken after blood taken--even a surgery! Doing this for nearly 2 moths finally I made myself have a ulcer from all the stres of this. I don't know why I did it and somtimes I still do it again cause I try diets and I don't know what's wrong w/ me or the best way to stop this! PLZ HELP! THX!!
Reply from Jainie, Age 14 - 09/25/03 - IP#: 67.30.214.xxx Like i've mostly started--i have aniety and somtimes i get upset so thats the only time i do it now--but i have foud the weight i love did and still is coming back--I'm trying to fina a way to loose weight--i dnt waan loose ABUNCH but i would like to loose 30 lbs--does anyone have any ideas and if sum1 would like to be like a diet partner--my goal is to loose weight and egt over this---its just alot easier then w/ sum1 around here!! Reply from anne, Age 16 - 09/23/03 - IP#: 216.66.108.xxx wow- worring about your weight that much is harsh. i know you're worried about your health but you were just making it worse- you could die by wearing out your asophagus- that's pretty bad. try not to feed into society so much and just take it one step at a time- like for a goal for one day drink as much water as you can- for another day eat less and drink more- and i mean eat less by eating healthier foods instead of junk food!

DOBT TRY TO LOSE WEIGHT THAT WAY CAUSE IT COMES BACK 3 TIMES WORSE. You will regret doing it if you keep doing it because it rotens your teeth, you begin to have red dotes on your body from basically strangling yourelf. And now, i dont do it any more an i gained the weight back and the food sitll comes up naturally at times without making myself throw up! Basically what you need to do is try to drink more fluids not soda but water and juices to help flush out all the crap in your body! And also you need to d more active things say like do a sport or try walking 2 or 3 blocks aftert school or anything! okay well i hope u get better cause Bulimia is an eating disorder and can really mess up your life best of luck, Samantah
