when i was on the atkins....i didnt follow it cuz we took basketball trips and we ate at dairy queen....n e way... starting tomorrow all im gonna do is exercise and eat 3 meals with no snacks and run and play basketball and stuff....i hope to lose at least 50 lbs by augest 30th...wish me luck....(dont worry i kno it sounds un-healthy...but its really not bcuz im training for track in the spring...if i could loose 80 lbs by then i would cry.....)(i will be 13 the 15th....can i eat a small piece of cake...i weigh 200 and i am 5'9 1/2")can u give me exercise tips and foods i can eat that reduce weightloss, and also food that fills u up...thanx in advance..jennifer-sorry this is sooo long...

august 30th is about 11 weeks away!!! to lose 50lbs u would need to lose an average of 4.5lbs a week!!! the healthy amount is inbetween .5 and 2lbs. u really shouldn't set urself such unrealistic goals because when u cant meet it it'll upset u and u'll b more likely to give up...a more realistic target would be up to 22lbs & if lose more then fantastic u can be really proud and if not it doesn't matter coz u can keep working on it. ive been losing weight since february, and I don't expect to reach my 50lb loss until end of august & I have 14lbs left to go...slow & steady wiins the race!!!!you'll get there in the end even ifit does take a while, its better and quicker than loads of failed attempts at fast weight loss

Hey Jennifer. You could if you want eat snacks because it's good for you. You can eat fruit for those snacks like grapes, strawberrys, and watermelon. If you walk 15-30 minutes a day that will really help. You should do things you like you like to do for instance riding a bike or dancing. Just think about the reward at the end of all this.
