school is finally over and my goal is to lose 30 pounds this summer until high school starts this is what im gonna do 3 times a week im going to go to the gym and ride the bike thingy for 35 minutes, then 2 more times a week im going to go on the treadmill which i have at home for about 1 hour tops. then 2 times a week im gonna try and dance or like play outside or something active for about a hour also... Now going on to food i was thinking NO JUNK/fatty foods and drinks AT ALL meaning: no chips, cookies, candy, soda, juice, different types of milk (like strawberry), basically just gonna drink water the rest of summer...NO EATING OUT!!!! no pizza so basically im just eating salad! * another thing im gonna do is not go on the scale cause when i lose weight and gain it back i like eat even more so it makes me go crazy! so when school is bout to start ill check my weight but not week after week so tell me what you think of my plan good or bad...give me advice just help me!

im trying to lose 30lbs. too so just stick with that plan ! can im trying to do that too ....hope you lose the wait you wanted too !

That is definately not healthy. You will pass out before you know it! And 35 minutes on the bike? 1 hour tops on the treadmill? Girl, you will be dead before the summer is over! What you need to do is start off at a REALISTIC time. You need to start out comfortable and then go stronger, little bit by little bit. If you do what you want to do, you will be so unhealthy, and u wont look good at all. You will look wiped out. Also, it's important to eat different types of food to keep your matabolism going. If you only eat salad, you aren't getting all of the nutrients you really need to stay strong and healthy. What you can do, is eat chicken (for protein) every now and then, salad every now and then, alot of fruits and veggies, and to reward yourself sometimes, you can go out to eat and stuff. don't deprive yourself. You know, even celebrities that look great each Mc Donalds. They just watch how much. If you are not sure of a realiztic time for the workout stuff, start by just doing it, and once u get tired, get off. walking around every day helped my mom lose like, 10 pounds in a few weeks too. walking is way better then running. also, what im doing to get healthy is im gonna wake up a little early every morning, like 9 o clock or 8 30 and ride my bike for about a half hour. just riding gently, because i have strong legs. then i will try to go longer. good luck! hope i helped.

I think that's a bit strict. You won't have very much fun this summer if you don't go out to eat with your friends occasionally. You can go out, just eat wisely. Also, you can treat yourself, but in moderation. Otherwise, you'll feel deprived and CAVE IN. ~~MissyK~~

that's a really great idea about not checking your weight. i was even talking to my bf yesterday about that. i want to take a break from the scale and the mirror(other then my faace)
