I'm feeling really bad lately... cuz I’ve been cheating or it feels like cheating I’ve been having special k or an apple for breakfast and a salad or chips (low fat) and salsa for lunch. Then whatever for dinner but in small amounts (usually pasta or shake & bake stuff) and then for a snack I’d just go nuts and eat like 3 chewy bars the kind w/ chocolate soooo good! I keep telling my self it's better than a chocolate bar and that's true but I don’t think I need to eat 3 of them! I think one would work but I always end up eating 2 or 3. Can anybody help me out? Hi Amanda, heres a tip from me to you that i often do to prevent me from doing exactly what you do (and trust me sometimes i do do that)after you finish the first bar cause one is fine, stick something else in your mouth like gum or go brush your teeth..anything to keep you from going back to get more..maybe mouthwash or even a peice of fruit. That way with gum/toothpaste/mouthwash you can be urged to drink more water (i dont know about you but those things make me want to drink water) and you wont want to ruin the taste of mint..cause mint and chocolate..arent that good. Well, you probably wouldnt eat 3 if you had a little bigger lunch and breakfast, eating an apple is not enough, and a salad isnt enough either. Eating too little, can make you binge. So try eating a little more. Like cereal and a fruit for breakfast, and a salad, and something like a yogurt or some saltine crackers, or a hard boiled egg for protein.
