Here is some advice for those who want it. I have tried a lot of diets and yeah a couple have worked, but then I gain the weight back or I gain a lot more. I have found that a diet like atkins, south beach, grapefruit diet, slimfast diet, and all those they have foods that you have to eat. Which may work for some people, but if you are like me you get sick of it and dont stay on very long. What we need to do is just cut portion sizes, cause on all of those diets, you have to eat less in order to lose weight, I mean slimfast your eating their food but you have to eat like 1,200 calories a day, so whats the different of just eating healthy, you dont have to drink your meals...(Click here to view rest of message).

I am not dissing any of the diets, I have done slimfast in the past, and it worked well, but i gained the weight all back as soon as I stopped eating and drinking the meals. I said it may work for some people and not others. Like it didnt work for me. Read more carefully.

no- i completely disagree with you on the slimfast plan. what they tell you is to not go under 1200 calories. calorie consumption on the slimfast plan is different for everyone. i don't follow it exactly now because since i've started i've gained more control over myself, my portion sizes, and it's resally taught me how to compare foods and choose the healthiest. now i just use a shake every now and again but i eat less calories(about 1200-1500) and eat tons of fruits and veggies. it's a great plan and i love it. it's not a fad and it teaches you valuable lifelong skills if you're willing to commit to it. you should really research diets before you dis them. go to www.slimfast.com to learn more about it...

it is nice to hear some real info coming from someone your age. I wish more girls your age understood it is a lifestyle change and a health issue and not a dating or appearence issue.
