Reply from Katlin, Age 13 - 11/11/04 - IP#: 24.233.86.xxx well... you say you are running so all that extra weight is probablly going away but your making muscle and muscle is heavier then fat so theres you answer
Reply from Katherine, Age 15 - 11/08/04 - IP#: 68.100.185.xxx I think it is my eating habits. I have lost one waist size, so now i am a snug size 9. but i eat REALLY unhealthy so i think that i need to improve witht that, thanks so much you guys, keep posting!!!
Reply from Rachael, Age 14 - 11/08/04 - IP#: 207.231.98.xxx Have you been eating right? You have to have both: healthy eating and exercise. You can't do one or the other; it won't work. However, if you've been eating good along with your running, it's probably muscle! Measure yourself(with a tape measure) instead of weighing yourself. It's more accurate...have you lose any sizes?
Reply from anne, Age 17 - 11/07/04 - IP#: 66.220.240.xxx then you need to change your eating habits too
Reply from Jenna, Age 12 - 11/07/04 - IP#: 69.182.40.xxx I agree with grace and Helper. It's all muscle. Keep up the good work
Reply from chelsea, Age 16 - 11/07/04 - IP#: 205.188.116.xxx Hey IF your not seeing any results...not even in your pants size you might have to lower your caloric intake a little bit. I use to exercise a whole lot but then I'd eat too much and It wouldnt do anything but make me gain weight. If you don't eat that much already Its muscle and you shouldnt worry about it.
Reply from HELPER, Age 14 - 11/07/04 - IP#: 216.180.203.xxx I definitly aggree wiht Grace, but another factor is are you eating healthy and correct, because if you go out and run your little heart out but than go home and have soda and chips, you will not see any results, if you are hungry when you get home eat healthy foods, and if you are eating healthy foods than just give it time and hopefully it will show you the results you want. **HELPER**
Reply from Grace, Age 15 - 11/07/04 - IP#: 24.62.180.xxx Most likely the reason you aren't losing any pounds is because your runs are making you gain muscle. Since muscle is heavier than fat, you can lose alot of inches and still weigh the same! A better guide would be how your clothes fit.. or how you look in the mirror. Good luck!
