I really want to lose about 20 lbs or so by june, i try to limit my caloric intake to about 1200 cal a day sometimes its alittle more or alittle less. i run about a mile a day on the tred mil, do 6 sec abs, so other ab workouts, and a little bit of other stuff. i am scared that by not eating that many calories by metobolism will decrease but i am so scared to eat alot of calories. please help

Reply from Rachael, Age 14 - 01/03/05 - IP#: 207.231.97.xxx Well, I think that since you are so active, 1200 isn't enough. Try 1400-1500. You can DEFINETELY lose weight by eating that much, and it won't make you gain weight at all.
