Hey! As you can see my name is Alexa, I am 13 and I am in 8th grade...I weigh about 170 lbs right now. I am on my school cheerleading team and I LOVE to dance...(I just started performing this year in my school cheerleading...so I have never taken dance class really before) Now that you know that...the problem is at the high school I am going to there is a dance team...and I REALLY want to be in it...the problem is my weight...I know I am skilled enought to do some of their moves and it will be easy to learn them...the only thing is I know I need to get fit...cause everyone else on the team is...Does anyone know how I could lose weight fast? The try-outs are in April wich gives me almost a month...I do have a large need of food. So is there any like healthier food I could eat a lot of? Are there any CHEAP diets? Any tips without jogging like 500 miles a day and doing like 1000 crunches? I may join Curves to...does anyone know any info on that? Please I need answers fast...I need a hero! I know how you feel, my mum has taken one of my sister's friend in who is 14 and weigh 120kg. My mum has cut out all the junk food looked up on the internet of healthy foods of what she should eat each day and now she weigh's 101kg. She does 800 metre's around the creek about 3 times a day and does it two times everytime she goes for her walk. Maybe you should have a go at it. I will send you a healthy diet script i looked up on the internet and used for the girl who is loosing weight becasue it has helped her out and she feels good about her self.

Your 14-day sample menu
Pre-breakfast: Add the juice of half a fresh lemon to 250ml of room-temperature water.
Breakfast:
Fruit smoothie with soy milk, water, rice milk or almond milk.
Or
Porridge with soy milk, fresh fruit and nuts.
Mid-morning and afternoon snacks: A handful of almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds and pepitas and a piece of fruit
Or a vegetable juice or banana smoothie with rice or soy milk.
Lunch: Chicken, tuna or salmon salad with avocado, goat’s feta and any other vegetables. Use a dressing of olive oil, lemon and lime juice, and fresh herbs.
Or
Vegetable-based soup that includes protein (such as tofu, beans, fish, chicken).
Dinner:
Grilled chicken, fish or barbecue tofu and steamed vegetables with lemon and garlic dressing.
Or
Homemade vegetable soup.
Drinks:
You must drink two to three litres of water per day.
Drink one vegetable juice daily with beetroot, carrot, apple, lemon and ginger. Try “chewing” the juice; this will assist digestion by increasing saliva.

Well Alexa I used to have that problem! I went to Curves and it helped alot , just call them and see if they can sign you up. But no matter what you do you have to watch what you eat. I totaly cut out junk food and started eating healthy foods like salads etc. I do not want to exercise either but we have to if we want to be in shape. Take a walk around your neighborhood something like that 3 times a week for 30 min. I walked on the tread mill 3 times a week for 30 min. and watched what I eat. I went from 175 to 145. Just focus on what you are doing and stick to it. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!

the best way is not weight watchers or anythign like that... but to eat healthier... the colorful the better.... carrots, apples oranges ect.... chicken breast (white meat) for protien and 6-10 glasses of water a day... also just be active.... you dont have to run a marathon or spend lots of money.... but buy an exercise tape and try that once in a while or go for a walk.... start slow and build your way up

hey alexa
you dont have to jog 500 miles a day but if you want to get fit and lose weight all in one the best way to do it is cardio all you have to do is jog at a slow pace for like a mile and you will start seeing results its hard at first but after you start you might actually like it and then you will do more and be fit to do any sport,cheerleading,dance team you want and as for crunches just to 20-100 a night again it will be hard at first but it will get easier and easier
for healthy things that you can eat a lot of FRUITS VEGGIEs they give you a lot of energy but dont necesarily fill you up so you might want to just eat a slice of bread with peanut butter on and you say you eat a lot when your eating SLOW IT DOWN i know you may not think you eat fast but when you take a bite of food but the rest back on the plate and chew 10-15 times and you will find you really arent as hungry as you thought you were.. i hope this helped ~helen~
