- So umm, they say you have to burn 500 calories everyday so by the end of the week you`ll lose 1 pound . . right ? But yeah, I was wondering do you have to excercise until you burn 500 calories everyday. Or do you burn the 500 calories by just eating 500 calories less than ur required calories. (Ex. if u have to eat 1800 calories everyday to mantain ur weight in order to lose a pound u have to eat 1300 calories everyday.) Sorry if this was confusing, I just really needed to know this.Oh by the way, GOOD LUCK ON BECOMING HEALTHY . = )

i used to burn 500 cals a day by our exersize bike or tredmill

your supposed to eat 500 less calories a day than you usually eat but also with increased activity. If you do this, you should lose 1 or 2 pounsd a week depending on how much you exercise and eat...good luck!
