ok right now im about 5'1 160 and i think i have been doing better wit the exercise lately then what i used to but i dunno. im moving soon so maybe i can focous on other stuff and be less LAZY and etc... im going to start TRYING to ear healthier and for sure exercise more and do sit ups make ur stomach flat? or what do they do? cause im going to start doing 15 sit ups 10 push ups b4 i go to bed and when i wake up. and imma ride my bike/walk/jog about 20 mins a day ill switch from one of those each day so i wont do all that in one day and get tired of it my goal for right now is 145 if i have a shirt and pants on or etc.. it covers my fat and i look like im not that bad but i am and i want to loose this weight. thankz - montana
Reply from Loran, Age 15 - 04/17/05 - IP#: 195.93.21.xxx Its a gud idea but also try and build it up 2 so ur increasing wt u cn do gradually, untill u cn do like 30 situps ect. also eat a healthy diet and jump around a bit. evre little helps

You have to lose weight first and then your abs start to show. I don't see why you shouldn't do them now, though. The more muscle you build, the faster your metabolism gets. Did you know that for each pound of muscle you gain, you burn an EXTRA 40 calories a day? Not too much, but imagine if through strength training and such, you lost fat and replaced it with 10 pounds of muscle--you would burn an extra 400 cals a day! Just goes to show you what a litttle stregth training can do. Maybe try 5 pound weights, too.
