Hey everyone! I was wondering how running a mile everyday will help me... I'd like to lose 10-15 lbs w/o bulking my thighs/legs up (thats why i'm hesitant to do regular leg exercizes)...i'd also like to flatten my stomach and "love handles", but situps and crunches aren't working for me... what do you guys think?

Hey, i used to run about a mile every OTHER day, now I'm up to three miles every other day. Its great excersize and lets me eat whatever I want, that way I'll burn it off when I run. By running 3 miles I burn around 515 calories and 160 fat calories, and it takes about 30 min or so:)

your situps and crunches might actually be working for you it's just that they might be hidden under a layer of fat so I suggest cardio too, another great ab exercise is the bicycle crunch, you should be able to find it somewhere on the internet, and good luck =)

woah gaining muscles doesnt necesarily bulk up your thighs it just makes them muscular ...you can do leg work outs just do lots of reps at a small amount of weight..and then you see tone slim legs instead of huge muscles...
