hey,
i just want to say to all the people here that the teens here are probably not the best advice givers on certain diets, like atkins. you should all ask a doctor on that one, its based on you, not everyone else. it may even be easiest to follow your own diet. limited calories, fat, etc (dont go less then 1200-1500 though), and excerise. you know, the old "traditional" way lol. just try what you think is best for you

Nicely said. It seems that most of the people on here are unaware of the 'proper' things to do. After all, calories should not be the only things to look out for. Something may be low in calories but high in fat, so on so forth. Its best to take health classes to understand what you are doing to your body rather than testing things out and slowing your metabolism. But I like the way you've stated it. After all, this message board should only be for inspiration. I remember that last year I started following some of the stuff I read, but later when studying health I learned that most of us are very young and immature, we don't understand everything at the time. Best to just eat healthy and exercise, it always wins out in the end.
