What's up people? My goal is to run an eight minute mile. I have planned how I want to do this and have set aside time for exercise during the day. i can run a 9min, 6 sec mile now. Once I reach my goal, I might aim for a 7 min 30 sec mile. Who knows? BTW, I've decided that after two weeks of doing what I said I would, I will reward myself with a mani-pedi. I think we should all reward ourselves without food every week or two for doing what we said we would. It's total motivation.
P.S. Ditch the scales, they are so 80's!
AS LONG AS I DO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE, I WILL REACH MY GOAL
Remember that, and you're good to go!

Awesome job hun! I wish I could run. I used to all the time but now I can't cuz it causes the joints in my back to swell up or sumthin (idk doctor talk!) But yea rewarding urself without food is good! Keep up the good work hun! Oh yea I know what u mean about the scale I always say and try to do that but I always fail and out it comes again!

actaully megan, using food as an award IS NOT good, because it does exactly the opposite of what your trying to do and you could taste something and want moer and just totally binge..

MAking goals is good... start by running a certian amount and time your self and every day you will improve.. Using food as a reward is good... In the summer Ever weekend I get an Ice cream... And then Every two weeks I'll have pizza or something... And you are right scales just make you more mad.... Thats when I get depressed.. when I keep looking at scales.. GOOD LUCK I WISH YOU THE BEST!! God Bless..
