Alright, a few things here...
First off, I'd like to know: After I get down to a weight I'm comfortable with, how do I maintain it? With my current eating and excersizing habits I am losing weight. Once I'm at my goal I don't want to keep losing...I want to maintain it.
Secondly, I'm going to a few places this summer where temptation could be high. At the end of this month I am going to Las Vegas for a week. There's alot of buffet's we're going to! But, I think we're walking everywhere so thats alot of walking and burning of calories. Also, in August we are going on a cruise. If you've been on a cruise, you know about this...but if you havnt let me tell you...theres a ton of food available to you at any hour of the day. This might be rough.
I'm doing pretty good lately. When I started my weight loss plan about a month and a half ago I was 5'7 and 166 lbs. I am now 5'7 1/2 and 147 lbs. So that's about a 20 pound difference in a month and a half. All I've been doing is watching what I eat, not overeating, drinking alot of water, not drinking any soda or eating any sweets and I have been more active. Hopefully I will reach my goal of 135 lbs. sometime soon!
Good luck to everyone...

Silly me, I forgot to add. I remember cruises....very fun! Just keep yourself active. There are plenty of things to do. Go outside and look out at the ocean. Enjoy the visual, and sensual pleasure the cruise has to offer besides the food. When you do dine...just make responsible decisions. It's a vacation! Do the trick I told you on the last post. If you eat a big dinner....don't eat three hours before bed and eat a healthy lunch. Another thing, is the three bite rule. Eat three bites of something and move on! There are other great foods. You don't need to eat all of one thing. Hope I helped. ~Miss K

That's where I am right now too, Stan. I'm currently maintaining a healthy weight. It's no walk in the park, but it's easier than losing more weight. There's a lot of freedom involved. My advice is change your dietary habits, just a bit when you reach your goal weight. What I mean is this, eat for pleasure. Now, don't go and binge on food....but really enjoy what you consume. If you have a hearty breakfast...then eat a light lunch. Improvise. If you eat a big dinner...then don't eat three hours before your bedtime, and eat a healthy breakfast the next day. Make sure you get to a weight where you are "safe". Meaning, if you get there....eatting a big meal and gaining a pound or two won't put you over the edge into being overweight again. If you need any other advice, I'm usually around. Good luck with your goals. You're doing so well! :hugs: ~Miss K

Fantastic job with your wieght loss!!! Dont sweat it about las vegas im sure you'll do fine. On buffet selection just try to go for fruits and veggies but with all that walking something good like fried chicken (mmmm) shouldnt hurt that much. My oh my i no about those cruises!! We went on one last year and i had icecream non stop hte whole time!! but luckily when you vist islands or whereever you go on your cruise youll get some walking in there too. Dont worry! good luck and let yourself have fun! youve come a long way!! :) <33
