If you want to lose weight quickly it is a must to stay away from animal products. There are two reasons why you have to abstain from animal food if you want to slim down fast:
The energy animal foods contain consists of proteins. Proteins take a longer time to digest and are burnt in a different, more cumbersome way than fruits and vegetables. Burning proteins is a body polluting process so it will not contribute to a healthy functioning of the cells.

It really depends what diet your on...but if your just trying to eat healthy, then it is a must that you eat protein. Carbs do not stick with you throughout the day, therefore causing you to be more hungry. Yes, I do agree that it takes protein longer to burn, but that just means that it will stick with you for longer periods of time. SO EAT PROTEIN, AND EVERYTHING ELSE IN MODERATION!

protein is good for you.. if you ever not want to eat it then you need to take vitamins with alot of protein or eat alot of beans because it also gives you energy and regardless of the negatives.. your body can't live without protein. milk has the same problem.. our stomachs cant digest the molocules as easily. but you still need milk because of the calcium. so whether or not you eat or drink meat/milk.. it's up to you. they both have negative and positive effects.

The best meal to have is a balance of protein and GOOD carbs (not white, starchy carbs). A no carb diet or an no protein diet are both very unhealthy and dangerous. People need both.

although that may be true in some cases, if you eat protien without carbs in a meal, you'll loose weight as well.
